The scientific meeting center and conference venue Gastdozentenhaus Karlsruhe is located between Karlsruhe city center, the KIT university campus and the castle park.
Here, in a beautiful and quiet location, there is a guest house with 45 accommodation units, consisting of single and double rooms, two-room apartments and a three-room apartment, which can accommodate a maximum of 4 people. The rooms are harmoniously furnished and have a view of the greenery - they offer a cozy home for short or long-term retreat and well-being.
In addition to guest lecturers and KIT scientists, external lecturers also have the opportunity to find accommodation during their work at KIT.
The central location offers short walking distances and a direct connection to everything your heart desires. A wide range of shopping facilities can be reached within a few minutes' walk on Kaiserstraße and one of the most beautiful shopping centers in Germany - the Ettlinger Tor shopping center - is only a 10-minute walk away.
In Karlsruhe city center you will also find a variety of cafés, bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the afternoons and end the evenings.
For nice sunny days and short breaks, the beautiful Karlsruhe Palace Gardens are just a minute away. Here you can feel completely at ease!
